ESCALON CITY COUNCIL NOMINATION PERIOD IS OPEN! JULY 18, 2022 – AUGUST 12, 2022
Are you interested in running for the office of City Council in the City of Escalon?
A CONSOLIDATED GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION will be held in the City of Escalon, County of San Joaquin, State of California, on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, for the following offices:
For three (3) Members of the City Council (Full Term of Four Years)
For one (1) Member of the City Council (Half Term of Two Years)
Vote center locations will be open between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
The first day to secure and file nomination papers is Monday, July 18, 2022, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The last day to secure and file papers is Friday, August 12, 2022, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. In the event a current officeholder has not filed nomination papers, the nomination period for that office shall be extended to Wednesday, August 17, 2022.
